Greater Franklin Development Council is a non-profit in Franklin County Maine that supports small businesses.
For this project I worked closely with the project manager responsible for the website’s content and continued upkeep of the site. In order to get them started and work within their budget, I created a responsive WordPress site including a homepage, menu navigation and general website development. The site was then handed off to the project manager. With some WordPress training specific to the theme and plugins that were used. This non-profit can now have control of editing their own site and have a website that is contemporary, responsive and optimized.
It is important to have a longer term plan in maintaining your website. A site must be remain updated and monitored to keep functioning. I offer long term maintenance but will also teach you or an employee how to update your site to ensure its optimization and function.
